Referral Program Terms & Conditions

These terms govern participation in the Name of the Game Embroidery referral credit program (the "Program"). By submitting a referral or accepting referral credit, you agree to these terms in full.

1. How Credit Is Earned

"Order subtotal" means the price of goods and services before sales tax, shipping, rush fees, or any other surcharges.

2. Discount for the Referred Customer

• The person or business you refer receives 10% off their first order with us, but only if that first order's subtotal is $500 or more.
• This discount applies once, to the referred customer's first order only. It does not apply to any repeat or subsequent orders.
• The discount cannot be combined with certain other promotions at our discretion; ask at time of quote if you're unsure whether a specific offer stacks.

3. Qualifying Referrals

• The referred party must be a new customer who has not placed an order with Name of the Game Embroidery in the prior 24 months.
• The referral must be submitted through our referral form, by phone, or by email prior to the referred party placing their order. Credit will not be issued retroactively for orders placed before a referral was logged.
• The referred party's first qualifying order must be placed within 3 months of the date the referral was submitted. Referrals not converted to an order within this window expire and are no longer eligible for credit.
• Only the referred party's first order with us counts toward credit. Repeat or subsequent orders by the same referred customer do not generate additional credit for the referrer.
• There is no limit to the number of referrals a single person or business may submit, and no limit to the total credit that may be earned over time.

4. When Credit Is Issued

Credit is issued only after the referred customer's qualifying order has been paid in full. Credit is not issued at the time an order is placed, and is not issued for orders that are cancelled, unpaid, or only partially paid.

5. Nature of Credit

• All credit issued under this Program is store credit only. It has no cash value and cannot be redeemed, exchanged, or refunded for cash under any circumstance.
• Credit may be applied toward any future purchase of goods or services from Name of the Game Embroidery.
• Credit is non-transferable and may only be used by the account or individual it was issued to.
• Credit cannot be combined with certain other promotions or discounts at our discretion; ask at time of use if you're unsure whether a specific offer stacks.

6. Credit Expiration

All credit issued under this Program expires 12 months from its date of issue. Expired credit is forfeited and cannot be reinstated, extended, or exchanged for any other form of value.

7. Program Eligibility & Fraud Prevention

• Referrers and referred parties must be separate individuals or separate business entities. Self-referrals, including referring a second business you own or control, are not eligible.
• We reserve the right to deny or revoke credit in cases of suspected fraud, abuse, duplicate accounts, or referrals that do not represent a genuine new customer relationship.
• Employees of Name of the Game Embroidery and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.

8. Tax Considerations

Referral credit is provided as store credit, not cash compensation. Depending on the total value of credit earned in a calendar year, referrers who are business entities may have separate tax reporting obligations under applicable law. We recommend consulting your own tax advisor regarding any personal or business tax implications of participating in this Program.

9. Changes to This Program

Name of the Game Embroidery reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate this Program, or these terms, at any time and without prior notice. Changes will apply to referrals submitted after the effective date of the change. Credit already issued prior to any change remains valid and subject to the expiration terms in effect at the time it was issued.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
